JAMES PIDGEON BA (Hons)

I am a Filmmaker from London, working within the roles of Directing and Cinematography, specialising in documentary, fiction film and film advertising. I am currently working freelance in the film industry following my degree in Filmmaking at Kingston School of Art, attaining the grade of Upper Second Class with Honours.
During my time at Kingston School of Art I also enrolled and completed an ARRI Accreditation course in Camera systems. Giving me the fundamental experience in order to operate ARRI cameras.
In the past few years I have worked on all types of genre films and in different locations around Europe giving me wide experience. As well as working in the film industry I am frequently travelling and exploring the world which further inspires my future films and my creative process.

I enrolled and completed an ARRI Accreditation Qualification in ARRI camera Systems.

Filmmaking BA Kingston School of Art
I studied Filmmaking at Kingston School of Art, part of Kingston University London. Where I completed my degree being awarded a Second Upper Class (2:1) with Honours.
2019
BFI Film Academy
YFA Qualification
In 2019 I enrolled at the BFI Film Academy. This is where I was first taught how to make a professional short film. I was taught by professionals in the industry and worked with professional actors. The film was then shown at the BFI. from this I received a YFA Qualification.
